Can I transfer my prescriptions to Harbourview Pharmacy?
Yes. We can transfer your prescriptions from any pharmacy in Ontario. Fill out our transfer request form and we will coordinate directly with your current pharmacy. Most transfers are completed the same day.
Can pharmacists prescribe for minor ailments?
Yes. Ontario pharmacists are authorized to assess and prescribe for a range of minor ailments including UTIs, cold sores, pink eye, allergies, acne, and more. No physician referral is required.
Do you offer vaccinations?
Yes. We administer seasonal flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccines, shingles vaccines, and a range of travel vaccines. Walk-ins are welcome, though we recommend calling ahead to confirm availability.
Can I renew my prescription at the pharmacy?
In many cases, yes. Ontario pharmacists can renew certain prescriptions when a physician is not immediately available. Speak with one of our pharmacists to determine if your medication qualifies.
How do medication reviews work?
A medication review is a private, one-on-one consultation with one of our pharmacists. We review all of your current medications, identify any potential interactions or concerns, and provide personalized recommendations. Reviews typically take 30 to 45 minutes and are covered by most Ontario drug benefit programs.
